Privacy Policy

DollarBanao (dollarbanao.com) is an educational financial-literacy service. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Details you give us. When you submit a form, we collect what you enter: your name (if provided), email address, mobile number (if provided), the topic you are interested in, and any message. We also record which page of the site you submitted from.
• Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, approximate location). This uses cookies.
• Technical data. Our servers keep standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability, and we use your IP address to rate-limit form and coach submissions so the site is not abused by automated traffic.
• Answers you give the calculators, which stay on your device. The financial health score, goal planner, projection and other calculators run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is saved in your browser's own local storage on your device, and is not sent to us, unless you choose to use Ask Dia (below).

Ask Dia, our AI coach

Ask Dia is a conversational money coach. It is the one part of this site that sends what you type to a third party, so it is worth being specific about what happens.

• What is sent. The message you type, the last few messages in that conversation, and a short context summary if you have used the calculators: your financial health score, main goal, age band, country and currency. Nothing else from your device is sent.
• Where it goes. To Anthropic, the provider of the AI model that writes the reply. Your message is processed to generate that reply and is not used by us to build a profile of you.
• What we keep. We do not store your conversations with Dia in our database. The conversation lives in your browser for the session. We keep your IP address briefly, in memory only, to enforce a limit of fifteen coach messages per hour.
• Please do not paste sensitive details. Dia does not need your full name, account numbers, card details, PAN or Aadhaar, or anything similar. Do not enter them.
• Education only. Dia explains concepts. It is not a financial adviser and does not give regulated financial advice or personal recommendations. See our Terms of Use.

How we use it

• To reply to you and follow up on what you asked about.
• To send you money-literacy updates or tips, but only if you asked us to.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Our basis for using your data

We use your contact details based on your consent (the box you tick when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in running and improving this service. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site, such as our analytics, email, messaging and hosting providers, and only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Two specifics worth naming. When you submit a form on dollarbanao.com, the details are sent to and stored on the backend our company operates under the propscient.com domain, which is the shared backend for our products. When you use Ask Dia, your message and the short context described above are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply.

DollarBanao is operated by PropScient Data Intelligence DWC-LLC, a free-zone company registered in the Dubai South Free Zone, Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Registration No. 13582, Licence No. 14573). Your information may be processed in the UAE and in other countries where those providers operate.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop the site from working.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details only as long as needed to help you, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

DollarBanao is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
