Who we are

DollarBanao is an educational financial-literacy service operated by PropScient Data Intelligence DWC-LLC, a free-zone company registered in the Dubai South Free Zone, Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Registration No. 13582, Licence No. 14573). In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.

Education, not advice

This is the most important thing on this page, so it is first.

• Everything here is general educational information. It is not investment advice, not financial advice, and not tax or legal advice. It does not take account of your circumstances, your income, your obligations or your risk tolerance.
• We are not a registered investment adviser, broker, or distributor in India or in any other country, and nothing here should be read as a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, fund, cryptocurrency, property or other asset.
• Ask Dia is also education only. It explains concepts in plain language. It is software, it can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation.
• Investing carries risk, including the loss of the money you put in. Past performance does not predict future returns. Before you act on anything you read here, consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, speak to a registered financial adviser.

Our calculators and tools

The calculators on this site are illustrations. They project what would happen if the assumptions you enter held true, which in the real world they will not. Figures shown are not forecasts, not promises, and not guarantees of any outcome. Change one assumption and the answer changes. Use them to understand how the moving parts interact, not to predict your future balance.

Any example rates, returns or market figures used to illustrate a point are just that, examples. Where we cite a public source we name it and date it. We do not guarantee that third-party figures are current or accurate.

Using this site

You may read the site, use the calculators for your own purposes, and share links to it. You may quote short extracts with attribution to DollarBanao and a link to the page.

You may not scrape or systematically copy the site; use automated means to access it beyond ordinary search-engine crawling; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; interfere with its operation; misuse Ask Dia to generate content unrelated to personal finance; or republish or resell our content as your own or as part of a competing product.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information anywhere on this site, including in Ask Dia. That means account numbers, card details, passwords, PAN, Aadhaar or other government identifiers. We do not need them and we do not ask for them.

Availability

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including Ask Dia, at any time. Content is provided as is.

Our content

The site, its text, design and tools are owned by us or licensed to us. The DollarBanao name and logo are our marks. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.

Where we link to a site we do not control, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for its content, its products, or its privacy practices.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any investment loss or other financial loss, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site, its calculators, or Ask Dia, or from reliance on anything published here.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the site collects and how it is handled, including exactly what Ask Dia sends and to whom. It forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts having jurisdiction there will deal with any dispute.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
